The dial of the Iro Iroshi is crafted from ancient mammoth ivory — a fossil witness to millennia that has endured epochs and retained its natural warmth and strength. At first glance, it appears clean and flawless: time is easy and pleasant to read, with nothing to distract. But gently shift your focus, and from the cubes and pyramids emerges a beautiful three-dimensional stereogram — the sign of constancy. It seems to come alive, reminding us that what is true remains unchanged through the centuries.

All elements on the dial feature the master’s original design. The hands are made of blued steel in a unique custom style. The numerals and markers are carved from the very same piece of mammoth ivory as the dial and its pyramids.

The dial’s special construction is thoughtfully engineered: the movement is securely housed inside, while the dial itself is mounted in the case using shock absorbers. The geometric bezel ring is specially designed to compensate for thermal expansion — ensuring the dial maintains its perfect shape and does not warp, whether in cold or heat.

The bezel is carved from rare Caucasian boxwood, stabilized with hot wax — a warm, living wood that feels wonderfully pleasant on the wrist.

The brand name Iro means “constantly” in Mingrelian, and the model Iroshi means “in constancy.” The ancient mammoth ivory and modern stereogram together convey the main idea: true constancy tenderly connects the past and the future.
