Time flows, and rarely can anything resist its changes. A watch on the wrist often becomes a symbol of this transience, which is why I decided to encase the mechanism in mammoth tusks, which have withstood the passage of time and retained their remarkable strength. Contact with life that existed several millennia ago and experiencing it through a watch is simultaneously mystical and magical. Thus, the watch makes the continuity of time alive and the elusiveness of eternity physically tangible. And the stereogram on the dial is a visible sign of eternity.
From the very first time I saw a stereogram (in the 90s), I dreamed of something similar on a watch dial, but back then it was more like a fairy tale. About three years ago, I made that dream come true, and looking at watches became a real pleasure for me.
The dial is made of mammoth tusk, decorated with a 3D-carving stereogram. Thermal expansion is taken into account and it is secured with a special mounting system.
